RAZI INSTITUTE EXPANDS RELATIONSHIP WITH AFRICAN COUNTRIES

The closing ceremony of the training course for Mauritanian veterinarian trainees took place on Wednesday, November 22nd, 2023, in Razi Vaccine & Serum Research Institute. In the ceremony, the successful completion of the training course was celebrated, and a prestigious platform for the exchange of knowledge and ideas was provided.

Dr. Soheila Moradi Bidhendi, the Deputy of Research and Technology of Razi Institute, said that organizing this training course for trainees from Mauritania in less than two weeks following the notification of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was the result of a well-planned and coordinated effort by the colleagues of Razi Institute.

In the closing ceremony of the training course titled "Manufacturing, Controlling, and Quality Assurance of Vaccines and Maintenance of Corresponding Equipment”, Dr. Moradi Bidhandi expressed satisfaction with the successful completion of the course and stated that part of the rich knowledge available in Razi Institute were taught to the team of Mauritania. She added that it is hoped that these trainees will be ambassadors to promote interaction between Iran and Mauritania in the field of exporting and transferring technical knowledge and that these trainings will contribute to the increase and improvement of the health status of Mauritanian society.

Dr. Moradi Bidhandi further noted that holding training courses for experts from African countries, in addition to deepening relations with these countries, is valuable and important in terms of comprehensive support and assistance from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to Razi Institute.

The Deputy of Research and Technology, while expressing her gratitude to all those who contributed to the establishment of this training course, emphasized that organizing this course in less than two weeks following the notification of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was the result of a group work that was carried out with effort, planning, and a coherent and accurate analysis by the colleagues of Razi Institute.
