Dr. Rainak Ghaderi, head of the Academic Relations and International Affairs office at Razi Institute, introduced the capabilities of Razi Institute and also the reference laboratories of WOAH International and presented suggestions to strengthen the relationship with that international organization. In proposing to hold an international webinar in collaboration with WOAH, he mentioned that they had recently received information from the WOAH organization regarding the presidency of Dr. Aziz Rafiei during the period of 1967-1970, and Razi Institute's future aims are to return to the former position, similar to Dr. Rafiei's activities during his time.

Additionally, Dr. Ebrahimi Jam, head of animal viral vaccines production department of Razi Institute, discussed the recent international activities of the WOAH reference laboratory, including the training of experts from Mali and Mauritania, as well as his active participation in international workshops held in cooperation with organizations of FAO and WOAH.

Dr. Gregorio Torres, head of the scientific department of WOAH organization, expressed his appreciation for the holding of this meeting and announced that due to his knowledge of Razi Institute based on his organization's background of cooperation, he welcomed the proposal for holding an international online webinar.

This event hosted other officials from both sides, including Dr. Ali Reza Yousefi, head of Research, Education, and Commercialization at Razi Institute, and Sara Linnane and Mariana Delgado of WOAH.
